The Explorer contained an image of the Capital building in Washinton DC that was broken up into 4 seperate political designs for books covers and movie release posters. The Explorer contained an image of Santa Clause and his reindeer that was broken up into 4 seperate designs for a wine list, a school open house, a news magazine cover and movie release poster. Idea Source Episode 16 topics included: This issue took a twisted look at the whole alien abduction thing. We wanted to show the diversity of using clipart to create some strange and even "out of the world" advertising messages. The Gallery was filled with images reflecting an alien or mystic theme as well as some non-literal usages of similar artwork used from all three CD-ROM subscriptions. The Explorer contained a photo of wooded snow scene that was broken up into 4 seperate designs using the textures in the trees to create some unusual design ideas. Idea Source Episode 17 This issue took a plunge head first into the world of creative clip art usages. The Gallery was filled with design ideas from some of our top in-house illustrators as well as some non-literal usages of similar artwork used from all three CD-ROM subscriptions. The Explorer contained an Aztec graphic that was seperated into 4 individual demos for a parfum spray, an ankle tattoo, a department store and a communications firm. The FX dept. had tutorials including : Creating an embossed overlay in Photoshop A perspective staircase in Illustrator A Prepress Look Inside Krista's Brain The Magic room had tutorials including : A 3D Animated Sissors Demo In Strata Pro for a political election ad. Idea Source Episode 18 This issue was dedicated to the techniques of creating 3D forms and animations using standard clip art. The Gallery was filled with design ideas from some of our top in-house illustrators as well as some non-literal usages of similar artwork used from all three CD-ROM subscriptions. The Explorer was our newest piece of online hardware, the "Filter Game". This new DataPad helps you to become familiar with the effects that filters can have on EPS shapes and images. The FX dept. had tutorials including : An "Anti-Crime" Commercial Animation. The "Academy Like" Glenda Awards Animation. Animating EPS contours for a fittness ad. Using pivot points to animate in Illustrator. The Magic room featured a commercial for the latest and greatest EPS filter set for Adobe Illustrator, called the BeInfinite Filters.
